Fortaleza Añejo is crafted from 100% blue agave grown in the Tequila valley of Mexico at an altitude of 1,200 meters. The plants mature for seven to eight years under the Mexican sun, sheltered from harsh winter winds, and the spirit is then aged for up to 18 months in oak barrels. Radiant in appearance and imposing in its unique bottle, it boasts a magnificent aromatic profile of fruit, caramel, vanilla, and spices. Notes of citrus, pineapple, and peach coexist harmoniously with hints of nutmeg and dried raisins, while the palate is rich, full-bodied, and oily with a buttery feel and velvety texture.
