Hoof & Lur is a natural, skin-contact wine (often categorized as an Orange or deep-blush Rosé) that pays homage to the traditional winemaking of our ancestors. It is fermented with indigenous yeasts, spends time in ceramic vessels or concrete, and is bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfites.The result is a stunning, cloudy, copper-colored wine that challenges the senses. The nose is a wild mix of dried roses, blood orange, and sweet spice (think powdered sugar and white pepper). On the palate, it is lean and vibrant with a “crunchy” acidity and a light tannic grip that makes it much more textural than a standard white wine.
