To this day, it remains a family business, managed by the tenth generation of Don Jose’s descendants. Jose Cuervo Especial Silver is a white tequila that undergoes no barrel aging. Consequently, it is the tequila with the purest agave aromas, derived from a distillation process where agave accounts for at least 51% of its composition.
