Crafted by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team, this spirit has been matured primarily in a combination of first-fill and refill American oak sherry-seasoned casks, carefully selected to deliver the classic American oak character: vanilla, citrus, and sweet oak. Its aromas feature intense vanilla, sweet sherbet, lime zest, and aromatic pears on a soft vanilla sponge cake. The palate is composed of creamy vanilla panna cotta, shortbread butter biscuits, lightly toasted coconut with crunchy almond toffee, apple, and sweet oak. The finish is medium in length, sweet with a lingering taste of vanilla. Its color is that of an autumn leaf, and its key flavors are vanilla, lime, sweet oak, apple, and toasted almond.
