Description
The House of Lillet was founded in 1872 in Podensac, a village south of Bordeaux, by Raymond and Paul Lillet, two merchants of wines, spirits, and liqueurs. They created the first French vermouth-aperitif from Bordeaux wines and artisanal fruit liqueurs. The base consists of 85% white wines from Bordeaux (mainly Semillon) and 15% local liqueurs, which mature for 12 months in oak barrels. A refreshing aperitif with a pleasant fruity and floral taste.
