Produced by the pioneer Domaine Costa Lazaridi in the Drama region of Northern Greece, Château Julia Chardonnay is a modern and ambitious expression of the variety. What makes it stand out is that it is crafted entirely without oak contact. By using skin contact and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the winery highlights the pure, fruit-driven character of the grape. It has a bright straw-blonde color with green highlights. The nose is lively and exuberant, dominated by pineapple, banana, and jasmine on a citrusy background. On the palate, it is powerful and well-structured with a refreshing acidity and a persistent, fruity finish.
