GEROVASILEIOU EVANGELO 750ml

Inspired by the legendary tradition of Côte-Rôtie in the Northern Rhône, this is a masterful co-vinification of the red Syrah and the white Viognier. The two varieties are fermented together in 40hL Burgundian oak vats, a process that stabilizes the deep color of the Syrah while adding the floral lift and silky texture of the Viognier. The result is an incredibly elegant wine with a dense aromatic profile of blackberries, black cherries, and violets, underpinned by notes of pepper, tobacco, and cocoa. On the palate, it is opulent yet buttery, featuring velvety tannins and a persistent, refined finish.
